Rust’s only goal is to survive. The island’s wildlife and other inhabitants, the environment, and other survivors want you to die. By all means to hold out for the next night.
Rust is celebrating its eighth year this year and is conducting more than 300 content updates every month. From regular balance modifications and improvements to AI and graphic updates, to regular seasons and events, as well as adding new maps, instruments, trains and drones, interesting or dangerous things are always happening on the island.
You wake up naked on a mysterious island armed with only rocks and torches. You have to risk nature from heat and cold to thirst and starvation, build shelters, eat food, and search for ingredients. Explore islands, abandoned settlements, mysterious monuments, and factions occupying the islands. But above all, watch out for other survivors…
Design and build a base that can defend your territory or control the island’s resources. Investigate technical trees, cultivate farms, direct electricity, and direct vehicles from horses to cars, boats, and helicopters. At all costs to get ahead.
